Dr. Nadini Persaud holds a B.Sc. in Accounting (First Class Honours) (UWI), a M.Sc. in Project Management and Evaluation (Distinction) (UWI), CGA (Gold Award), and a Ph.D. in Evaluation (Western Michigan University). She was a Temporary Lecturer from 2002-2004, but resigned to pursue doctorial studies when she received a Fulbright scholarship. She returned to the Department in August 2007 as a Lecturer in Project Evaluation. Before commencing employment with UWI, she was employed as a Projects Officer with the Economic, Planning, Project Coordination and Social Policy Development Unit of the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Development in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Her research interests are project evaluation, checklist methodologies, cost analysis, and project management.

Dr. Paul Pounder holds a BBA (Hons.) with a concentration in entrepreneurial studies from Brock University in Canada and a Ph.D in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham in England . Dr. Pounder has over ten years of experience in business development, project management, business analysis, training/consulting & mentoring. Since 2005, Dr. Pounder has been employed as a lecturer at the University of the West Indies , for courses in the MSc. in Project Management and Evaluation. Prior to joining the UWI, Dr. Pounder began his professional career as a Business Development Officer with the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation. Dr. Pounder brings an extensive understanding and application of management skills in the area of Business Development and Project Management with an emphasis on research and consultations in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Operations Management, Project Appraisal and Project Monitoring and Evaluation. Dr. Pounder has authored and co-authored several industry articles that have been published in the areas of New Venture Management, Manufacturing Engineering and Project Management.
